Breaking News from EHT Traceries…

Important and Exciting Announcements!

We are sad to report that Laura Harris Hughes, the H in EHT Traceries, has retired! Laura came to Traceries right out of college, went back to school to get her Masters in Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania, and came right back to us after. She quickly established herself as a leading Preservationist working for private clients, local and state governments, GSA, NPS, and the State Department. Her work took her on many adventures, from local work to far away places such as New York, Massachusetts, Iowa, and even all the way to Argentina and the Czech Republic. While we miss her dearly, we are very happy for her as she embarks in this next stage of her life. We know that she and her husband Mark have been traveling the world, enjoying their expanded family (including a new granddaughter), and remodeling their country house in Loudoun County, Virginia. We do miss her and hope that she misses us…at least a little bit!

Following Laura’s retirement comes exciting news about four of our current staff. We are thrilled to announce that Kim Daileader; Sarah Vonesh; Erin Howe; and Alyssa Stein will be joining Emily Eig and Afshin Vettovaglia as Principals. Each comes to this new position following years of hard work, gaining great experience, honing their many skills, and making us realize that they make Traceries stronger every day. They are true leaders and the backbone of our company. Please congratulate them on their extraordinary achievement! We look forward to many happy years together!
