Intent: EHT Traceries provided the owner with comprehensive consulting services that have led to the approval of the Maryland State and Federal Historic Preservation Tax Certification Applications for the building. The historic office building, originally the Baltimore Trust Company Building and constructed in 1929, was rehabilitated to function as an apartment building in the unique atmosphere of downtown Baltimore. EHT Traceries also coordinated consultation with the State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service to coordinate consistency of the plans and specifications with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. The building received its HPCA Part 3 certification in September of 2016.
